Classe ’63, di Firenze, dj Grecos - all’anagrafe Mario Mangiarano - inizia giovanissimo la sua carriera di disc-jockey, girando i primi dischi intorno ai 14 anni ed iniziando a trasmettere nelle prime radio private. Cresce musicalmente nel periodo del funk e della disco music, abbracciando questi generi in tutta la sua carriera musicale, evolutasi poi nel groove della musica house. Amante del mixaggio perfetto, è sempre stato apprezzato per la sua tecnica, che lo ha reso celebre negli anni '80 con il nickname de “IL DOTTORE”. Dj, speaker e produttore musicale, Grecos annovera più di 200 releases, di cui molte prodotte assieme all’amico Carlo Conti sotto l'etichetta ZEUS. Con quest’ultima sono stati pubblicati più di 100 brani tra inediti e cover, nonché editati 5 nuovi gruppi musicali. “Living in the Sky”, con oltre 500.000 copie vendute E’ ancora intatto dal '96 il suo RECORD DEL MONDO DI MIXING, con la bellezza di , vince il disco d'oro nel 1985 e arriva primo in quasi 20 nazioni, tra le quali (oltre all'Italia) Francia e Germania. Il successo di alcune sue produzioni discografiche lo portano ad esibirsi in tutta Italia ed all'estero. 131 ore consecutive alla consolle Premi: circa 150 targhe per partecipazioni ad eventi musicali e dj sets, , performance che gli ha permesso di essere inserito nel libro de “Il Guinnes dei primati”. Per l’occasione, i curiosi presenti presso l’allora Baia Imperiale di Gabicce, assistettero ad un dj set della durata di oltre 5 giorni. Tra le collaborazioni radiofoniche si registrano quelle con Radio Time, Radio Studio 54, Lady Radio, Rdf, Radio Planet. Last but not least: la notte di capodanno del 1993 il fratello rimase coinvolto in un incidente stradale, che lo costrinse in coma per più di un anno. Forte di una condotta all’insegna del divertimento sano, Grecos (dj astemio da sempre), si è fatto promotore di una cultura della nightlife responsabile sostenendo con messaggi salutisti i giovani e il popolo della notte.

Mario Mangiarano AKA Dj Grecos Florence Based dj start spinning the turntable in his early teenage of 14th while contribute to air live on private radio. Growing up musically with Funk and Disco which influenced and helped Him to blossom in his career that later on led into the er of House Music. His perfection with mixing records together DJGrecos in the 80' stood out out and gain large popularity gave him the nickname “Doctor DJ”. With his complete crafts as dj, producer and MC,Grecos will release 200 recordings most of those productions were created along his friend&partner producer Carlo Conti on Zeus Records label which 100 of the productions that include famous covers and re-editing 5 new bands. “Living In The Sky” 500.000 copies sold landed Grecos a gold records in 1985 and reached #1in more then 20 european countries dance charts. Followed the great success Grecos starts to showcase all around Italy and abroad the country. DJGrecos still own his title as Master of mixing technique beating the records mixing on the turntable for 131 hours consecutive such a performance won Grecos's name in the book “Il Guiness dei primati” Many people attended to this dj set competition that lasted for 5 days.The event took place at the world famous club Baia Imperiale in Gabicce Riccione-Italy.
