With 'The Big Dream', Layo & Bushwacka! present a musical chimera that quickly evokes a period of escapism for the listener. It's futuristic, almost motion-picturesque arrangement, provides a blissful musical journey that demonstrates the producers' ability to harness and crystallise emotion into something tangible. By no means ambient, this track has a rhythm that conjures up notions of discovery, whilst its anthemic organ-like synths add a grandeur that elevates this to its pulsating finale.
