Mighty oaks from small acorns grow... and with the release of Kaiserdisco's 'Retouched Vol.1', might we be seeing the latest Systematic seed planted by label boss, Marc Romboy Having been been hugely impressed by Patrick and Frederick's edit of Dualton's "Face Off", a track exclusive to their Systematic podcast mix, Marc asked the duo to lend their talents to another brace of label classics. It didn't take the KD Music bosses long to choose their favourites and having refreshed with a touch of 'Disco' dust the Emperors returned with sparkling new versions. A trio of hits reworked and ready to roll. Kaiserdisco turn their hand to fellow groove-master Steve Lawler's smash, "Distrait", before heading back to 001 and Booka Shade & Marc Romboy's "Everyday In My Life". Finally they inject Dualton's piano-anthem with some trademark KD muscle. Could this EP be the acorn that births a mighty new series of reworks Thats yet to be decided, but with Systematic's vast catalogue of hits and the already bubbling support for Vol.1, we could be looking at a fresh forrest of material. Exciting.
