The Owl returns for 003 after two sell-out opening releases. There is a bit more sample trickery on this release with beefed up drums and smooth chords added to the original material.
The opening track being a clever disco-house take on the 'Everyman'. The drums are chunkier and the groove is tight!
Donny Hathaway's 'Little Ghetto Boy' gets more or the straight up edit treatment with all the good parts looped for a dj friendly mix. 'Hustle' is a very clever rework with plenty of new parts added to give the original a much needed dance floor boost. Rounding the release off with a simple yet effective re-do of Fred Wesley's classic 'House party'.
