Recondite returns to Hotflush for his fourth release on the label, and his first since 2016.
The signature sound of this singular artist is in full effect across this EP, as melancholic melodies intertwine with rough textures and direct percussion. Moods and styles are similarly varied, as the spaced out atmospheres of Pour contrast with the glistening sheen of title track Silk. Channel, meanwhile, represents the harder edge of the Recondite aesthetic, combining trademark atmosphere with an unambiguously dancefloor dynamic.
The vinyl release of 'Silk' will also include an exclusive track, 'Skeletal'.
